The Keeper's covenant.

This agreement is part of the legal bundle with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where the Terms govern the Service generally, this document covers the game itself: what we commit to as operators of the Reignition, and what you commit to as a Keeper.

A founding stable of four reignited horses, entrusted to your care, free of charge: no purchase necessary. Founding horses are soulbound: they are for racing, not selling or trading, and the game enforces that. They are licensed game items under the Terms, not property and not assets.

Races are real, not theatre. We commit to the Reignition Integrity Protocol:

• Race outcomes are computed deterministically from data committed before the race runs. The same race always replays identically.
• We do not rewrite, re-roll, or retroactively alter a race result that has run.
• Each horse's inner numbers are hidden from every player equally. Discovering a horse's nature through racing is the game, and no player is sold or granted a shortcut around it.

As the protocol matures we will publish player-verifiable commitments for horse generation (commit-reveal), so a horse's nature can be checked rather than trusted.

• One identity, one stable. No multi-account or starter-stable farming.
• Found an exploit? Report it through the channels provided with your beta access; don't use it, don't trade it.
• No unauthorized automation playing on your behalf.
• No wagering: don't bet money or anything of value on race outcomes, and don't use the game to facilitate betting by others.
• Race your own stable honestly: no collusion to fix competitive outcomes against other players.

Embers and every other beta balance are simulated. They have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for money or anything of value outside the game. Racing on the free competitive path costs nothing to enter; any prizes or rewards are funded and provided by the operator and labeled as such. Your horses do not “earn”; you play, and the operator funds the rewards.

The Reignition is in beta. Features ship behind flags, balance evolves, and game state may be adjusted or reset where a bug or exploit requires it. We work to preserve your stable and its history, and we honor the integrity commitments above at all times, but continuity of beta progress is not guaranteed.

Your horses, Embers, and items are for play. They are not investments, do not produce income or yield, and should never be acquired with an expectation of profit. Game modes and the Service itself may be modified, sunset, or discontinued as the Terms describe.

If you break these commitments we may remove ill-gotten progress, suspend, or terminate your account under the Terms of Service. If you believe we have broken ours, call it out through the channels provided with your beta access; the Integrity Protocol exists precisely so that claim can be checked.
